Cleaning

Cleaning & Sanitizing

  • Ongoing use of disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces, chairs, tables, lockers and railings
  • Temporary closure of bathrooms and changing areas throughout the day for deep cleaning
  • Double the number of sanitizing stations for guests & team members
  • To prevent the spread of germs, all transactions are cashless

  • Outdoor Water Park capacity limited to 50% per state guidelines
  • Indoor Water Park capacity limited to 25% per state guidelines
  • Reservations are required prior to visiting: Make your Reservation. 
  • Please note: Season Pass Holders and guests who previously purchased tickets will need to bring their Season Passes or tickets in addition to the reservation ticket in order to be admitted to the park.
  • Seating, food service & retail locations adjusted to reduce capacity and provide for physical distancing

  • All team members will be equipped with personal protective gear appropriate for their role including face coverings, face shields and gloves
  • Guests at the park are required to wear a mask when waiting to enter the park, waiting in line at the cafe and when walking to and from the cafe and bathrooms.
  • Masks are not required when swimming, sitting in chairs or when sitting at picnic tables.

*According to the CDC, there is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread through people in pools, hot tubs, spas or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water.

A note from Sahara Sam's Oasis General Manager:

Sending a Sahara Sam’s Oasis thank you to everyone in our community that has worked tirelessly to serve friends, neighbors and local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our hearts go out to those that have been impacted by the virus and we pledge to continue to do our part to stop the spread.

While safety has always been our top priority, we’ve changed quite a number of procedures. Many of these will be visible to guests, but there is also a lot happening you won’t see. Our team members are receiving training on best practices for preventing the spread of disease, we’ve evaluated every aspect of our operations and researched the latest guidelines and best practices provided by the CDC, WHO, OSHA, aquatics and amusement industry experts and the medical community.

We will continue to follow state mandated guidelines while encouraging everyone to get outside, enjoy quality time with friends and family and soak up some warm Jersey sun. If you aren’t feeling well, or have a fever or other flu-like symptoms, please delay your visit. Healthy guests and healthy team members can work together to create a positive environment for everyone.

Insider Tips:

  • Come Dressed Ready to Splash & Play – Due to capacity limits, physical distancing and periodic deep cleaning, access to changing rooms and restrooms will, at times, be limited.
  • Leave Your Cash at Home – To reduce the spread of germs, all transactions will be cashless. Save time by purchasing your tickets, parking and food & beverage vouchers online. Limited cash changing stations are available inside the park.
  • Check Our Website & Social Media Regularly – Due to capacity restrictions per state guidelines, we may have to limit entry from time to time. Prior to your visit, please check our website or social media channels for updates.


COVID-19 Alert:

Enhanced health and safety measures are in place for the health of guests and team members. Guests must follow all posted and verbal instructions. There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is very contagious and can lead to illness and death. By visiting Sahara Sam’s you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Please, partner with other guests and team members in protecting each other’s health and safety.

NJ Travel Update:

Effective July 7, 2020 the state of NJ has issued a travel ban to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Travelers from any of the referenced states, including DE, are required to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in NJ. If you are traveling to NJ on a day trip, unfortunately, this precludes you from visiting.
