Imagine traversing a cargo rope obstacle course suspended over a rain forest lagoon, splashing your way through a 410 foot adventure river ride, having 1,000 gallons of water unexpectedly rain down from above, navigating through a wild maze of twisting and turning rapids with your family. Imagine experiencing it all indoors. 

Welcome to Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park --- New Jersey’s first freestanding Indoor water park and entertainment complex.

Located in West Berlin N.J. on 13-acre parcel along Route 73, Sahara Sam’s represents the next step in providing affordable, family oriented fun.

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park will feature a wide array of exhilarating, state-of-the-art water rides and attractions, interactive games, and great ticket and party packages.

 FLOWRIDER

• Surf’s up! Think you’ve got what it takes to be the Big Kahuna? Test your surfing or boogie board skills on New Jersey’s first surfing machine, the hugely popular FlowRider.

• The Rip Curl flowRider creates a thin sheet of water that flows over a stationary wave form, producing a continuous wave for boogie boarding or surfing.

• Anyone can ride the Rip Curl FlowRider from beginners to experts. Its specially designed ride surface can handle any wipeout, ensuring safety and a good time.  You must be at least 8 years of age to ride the Flow Rider.

• How does it create the perfect wave? Pumps located in the pool below inject a 3 inch sheet of water over the ride surface creating the surf.

• There are about 100 flowRiders currently installed around the world. Sahara Sam’s FlowRider is the first and only one in New Jersey.

MOUNT KILIMANJARO

• Go to new heights! At 45 feet above ground, this winding family raft ride churns it up with white water rapids and the open sea.

• Groups of 4 people ride aboard circular rafts, allowing friends and family to share their ride experience.

• Twin entry loading allows incredible ride capacities of 1200 (or more!) riders per hour.

• The wide flume profile, and frequent back to back curves create an exciting oscillating ride experience with “hang time” on the high bank walls

• Mount Kilimanjaro is 390 feet in length, providing exhilarating twists and turns along the way.

• Go for a ride outside: Mount Kilimanjaro’s massive tubes snake along Sahara Sam’s exterior façade and reemerge inside the building, creating a colorful visual for passing motorists on Route 73.

SNAKE EYES

• Snake Eyes are two eight-foot wide slide barrels that twist and turn as you roar toward a splash landing at the finish line.

• The ride holds 1 person per tube – perfect for a race against a friend.

• Snake Eyes can also accommodate a 2 person raft so families can share the experience together.

• Riders travel though back-to-back serpentine curves, in open and enclosed sections with water curtains, before safely exiting into the splash pool.

• The enclosed flumes create a dark riding experience which increases thrill.

• Back-to-back compounded curves ensure a comfortable ride at a high speed.

CONGO BONGO ADVENTURE RIVER RIDE

• The Congo Bongo rafting trip is full of surprises as water geysers, swirling vortexes and water cannons challenge you at every turn.

• 420 - Total feet of winding turns and the Congo Bongo Lazy River Ride

• The slow current allows guests to gently roll along in relaxing state as they make their way around the Sahara Sam’s facility.

• The Congo Bongo Adventure River Ride is designed for one person per inner tube and can handle xx people at a time.

• There are 2 waterfalls and a trellis water feature along the trip.

• Congo Bongo River also features a zero depth entry, allowing riders to walk the river if they choose.

CROCODILE FLATS/ SAM’S SLAM DUNKER

• Crocodile Flats and Sam’s Slam Dunker share the same wading pool, offering guests unique challenges to familiar games.

• Swing, crawl or leap – just don’t fall to the crocs waiting below while climbing through this intricate web of ropes and cargo nets suspended high above Sahara Sam’s rainforest lagoon.

• Crocodile Flats section of the pool features an intricate web of ropes and cargo nets suspended high over one end of the pool.

• Guests can swing, leap or crawl their way through the Flats to get to the other side.

• Sam’s Slam Dunker is a fun water basketball court, featuring 3 basketball hoops for guests to challenge one another.

• Anyone can take the ball to the rim and literally dunk it home at Sam’s Slam Dunker.

• The wading is 36 inches deep, allowing everyone the chance to enjoy the Crocodile Flats and Sam’s Slam Dunker.

TIM-BUK-TU TREE FORT

• The Tim-Buk-Tu Tree fort is a giant tree fortress complete with water cannons, slides, sprays and a tipping bucket.

• The giant tipping bucket can hold up 1,000 gallons of water, so watch out, it makes a big splash!

• It features multiple cannons, which fire a steady stream of water, and mini dumping buckets – perfect for a splash attack!

• 3 slides adorn the tree fort: 2 are for body sliding and 1 is for the kiddies.

• The tree fort also includes multiple platforms and a tower that looks over the wade pool below.

 THE LIZARD LAGOON

• The Lizard Lagoon is a special pool area just for the little adventurers.

• It features a zero-depth pool entry.

• It has mini-slides and multiple water geysers for tykes to splash in.

• The Lizard Lagoon also has 4 person baby bungee swing specially designed for toddlers.

• The Lizard Lagoon pool is 8 inches deep – perfect for toddlers to enjoy themselves in a safe, secure environment.
